For the past 17 years, Travis Maclay has been leading God’s people in church ministry. Travis was called in 2008 to serve as the Communications Pastor at Bannockburn. In his role, he oversees all aspects of the Communications Ministry including print and electronic communications, public relations, technical operations and information systems.
Travis was raised in a Christian home, realized his need for Christ and surrendered his life to the Lord at the age of nine. He was very active in church throughout his teenage years and his love for communications and reaching people with the Gospel began in high school. Travis surrendered to the ministry in the eleventh grade and God has given him wonderful opportunities to share the Gospel all around the world.
Travis has been married for six years to the love of his life, Mandy. They met and married at their home church, First Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida, where Travis served on staff for the better part of a decade. After serving in churches in Tennessee and Kansas, Travis and Mandy are blessed to serve at Bannockburn. They have a passion to invest in others and to encourage and train God’s people in taking the unchanging Gospel to an ever-changing world through the power of communications and technology.
