  • Truth Seeker Teacher
    Description: This person meets with the other teachers in the class to plan, pray and prepare to teach God’s Word, using LifeWay curriculum, each Sunday morning in either the first hour of Growth Groups from 9:30 - 10:40 AM or the second hour of Growth Groups from 11 AM - 12:10 PM. A free criminal background check would be required to serve in this position.
    Number Needed: 4
    Service Frequency: One hour each Sunday, year-round
  • Greeter
    Description: This person greets members and welcomes visitors, collecting their contact information and showing their children to the appropriate growth group. Also available to assist classroom teachers as needed in either the first hour of Growth Groups from 9:30 - 10:40 AM or the second hour of Growth Groups from 11 AM - 12:10 PM. A free criminal background check would be required to serve in this position.

    Service Frequency: One hour each Sunday, year-round
  • Royal Ambassador (RA) Leader
    Description: This person, preferably male, meets with the other leaders in the class to plan, pray and prepare to teach boys about God and His work through missionaries around the world, using RA curriculum from North American Mission Board, each Wednesday evening from 6:45 - 7:30 PM. A free criminal background check would be required to serve in this position.
    Number Needed: 2
    Service Frequency: 45 minutes each Wednesday from late August to late April
  • Girls in Action (GA) Leader
    Description: This person, preferably female, meets with the other leaders in the class to plan, pray and prepare to teach girls about God and His work through missionaries around the world, using GA curriculum from the Women’s Missionary Union, each Wednesday evening from 6:45 -7:30 PM. A free criminal background check would be required to serve in this position.
    Number Needed: 2
    Service Frequency: 45 minutes each Wednesday from late August to late April
  • AWANA Handbook Leader
    Description: This person listens to a small group of children (a.k.a. AWANA clubbers) recite their scripture memory each Sunday afternoon from 4:30 - 6:00 PM. A free criminal background check would be required to serve in this position.
    Number Needed: 2
    Service Frequency: Every Sunday from late August to early May
  • Upward Basketball Referee
    Description: This person learns Upward basketball rules and referees one or more Upward games on Saturdays in January and February. A free criminal background check would be required to serve in this position.
    Number Needed: 6
    Service Frequency: As many 1-hour games on Saturday as possible
  • Vacation Bible School (VBS) Worker
    Description: This person will meet with co-workers to plan, pray and prepare to teach boys and girls, using Gospel Light curriculum, about God and His Word. A free criminal background check would be required to serve in this position.
    Number Needed: 150
    Service Frequency: Monday through Friday - 8 AM-12 PM - One week during the summer
