Legacy Garden Project
Dear Friend,
THE TWO OBJECTIVES OF THE LEGACY GARDEN PROJECT:
1. To inspire giving that will pay off our current financial debts, freeing up future funds to extend the eternal Kingdom work of Bannockburn. We are blessed to enjoy a wonderful facility, and our debt load has been healthy and handled responsibly. However, I am convinced that it is time to free up those funds for the exciting ministry in the days ahead.
2. To construct a visual reminder of our call to honor the generations that came before us, and to reach future generations with the Gospel. This Legacy Garden will be a beautiful marker in the days ahead of the sacrificial giving we witnessed during this emphasis.
YOUR ROLE IN THE MIRACLE!
For forty days following the announcement of the Legacy Garden, many of you joined me in prayer for this very special endeavor – asking God to specifically reveal to each of us what our role might be in this miracle. Now we begin the process of seeing those prayers answered! Below is a link where you can download the entire information packet distributed to the church on March 21, 2010. You’ll note in this packet a number of items about the days ahead – including a schedule, some prayerful goals, and the details about the Biblical process we will follow. I trust that many of you will “answer the call” when you are asked to participate in the campaign as a volunteer. It will take many of us to accomplish all that the Lord has set before us. I can’t wait to see what God has in store!
Blessings,
Pastor Ryan Rush
