Single Moms
Our Purpose
Our goal is to be supportive of one another as we meet the unique challenges facing mothers in a single-parent household. The principal source of guidance for our group is the Bible, God’s holy Word. We also look to Christian teachers, role models, and mentors to help guide us in achieving our goals of growth. Last, but not least, is the strength that we gain by our health-giving friendships. Bonding with women who are like-minded is a great nutrient for body and soul.
Your Invitation
We meet weekly on Sundays at 9:30 – 10:45 AM in EC 106. Childcare is available for infants and toddlers, as well as wonderful Bible study groups for all ages of children and youth. You would be so very welcome in our safe, friendly setting. Coffee and tea are provided. Warm smiles and friendly fellowship are served freely. Please accept our invitation.
Events
Every Fourth Sunday (12:30- 2PM), a fellowship potluck lunch will be held in room 306 of the Abington Center. This will be fellowship time for moms, kids, and families to connect, meet new members, and let the kids play together. We will also discuss BBC mission opportunities to participate as a group and other fun events. This is a great time to invite other single moms as well. Please join us (even if you are unable to bring food)!
