UPWARD BASKETBALL & CHEERLEADING
Upward Sports, the world's largest Christian sports league for children, provides a fun kids sports experience based on healthy competition. Boys and girls in grades 1-6 learn the fundamentals of basketball and cheerleading while also learning about God, his Son Jesus and memorizing scripture.
Registration for the 2011-2012 season is closed. However, some age groups do have openings, and the registration cost is $95.00. This price includes basketball jersey, t-shirt and shorts.
Cheerleading is for girls in grades 1-6 and the registration cost and dates are the same. The price includes cheerleading uniform, pom poms and megaphone.
Evaluations and Orientations have been completed. Contact Christina Ricotta 512.892.2703/222 to make arrangements for uniform sizing.
Practices will begin the week of November 28. Teams practice once a week for one hour.
First Game will be Saturday, January 7, 2012. Teams play one game a week on Saturday for eight weeks. Games last one hour. This includes the cheerleading team, one game every Saturday for eight weeks.
