Kids in grades K-5 seem to have endless amounts of energy, possibility and curiosity. We direct all that potential towards a strong faith in Christ, activating minds and hearts with a strong variety of class offerings. Where our children are headed, so is our future.

Truth Seekers Growth Groups

Who: Kindergarten through 5th grade
When: Every Sunday at 9:30 & 11AM
Where: Children's Center

Jeremiah 29:13 says, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” 

Truth Seekers is a weekly Bible study on Sundays for kindergarten through 5th grade students. Eager to create seekers of God, the Children’s Ministry Team strives to help children discover the truth of God’s Word.

Special Needs Ministry

Who: Birth through 5th grade
When: Sunday mornings; Mondays and Wednesdays
Where: 1st Floor Abington Center

This ministry supports families and children with special needs. Our desire is to provide a place where the entire family can worship and assist families in better connecting church and home. We believe in mainstreaming children with special needs into age-appropriate classrooms with a one-on-one buddy. Our goal is to allow the child to hear the Word of God through classroom activities, build peer relationships and gain independence.

AWANA

Who: Kindergarten through 8th grade
When: Every Sunday during the AISD school year from 4:30 - 6PM
Where: Family Center Gym

AWANA is a unique program for kindergarten through 8th grade students and meets weekly during the school year. This international, non-denominational, Bible- centered organization focuses on reaching children through the Gospel and trains them to serve Him. Through Bible memorization and activities, children are taught to understand and seek truth.

Children's Choir

Who: Kindergarten through 5th grade
When: Every Wednesday during the AISD school year from 5:30 - 6:30PM
Where: Children's Center

The Children’s Choir is an enthusiastic group of children who occasionally present special music in worship services and also take part in seasonal church productions. The Children’s Choir meets weekly during the school year.

Mission Friends

Who: Kindergarten
When: Every Wednesday during the AISD school year from 6:30 - 7:30PM
Where: Children's Center

Mission Friends is designed for children in kindergarten and meets weekly during the school year. Children learn what it means to be a missionary through stories, crafts, food and mission activities.

Royal Ambassadors (RAs)

Who: 1st grade through 5th grade boys
When: Every Wednesday during the AISD school year from 6:30 - 7:30PM
Where: Children's Center

Royal Ambassadors (RAs) is designed for 1st through 5th grade boys and meets weekly during the school year. Through mission activities RA’s participate in events and projects that emphasize the importance of serving others and learning to be missionaries both locally and globally. Activities include RA Congress, car races, camping trips, RA camp and more!

Girls in Action (GAs)

Who: 1st through 5th grade girls
When: Every Wednesday during the AISD school year from 6:30 - 7:30PM
Where: Children's Center

Girls in Action (GAs) is designed for 1st through 5th grade girls and meets weekly during the school year. Through mission activities, GAs participate in events and projects that emphasize the importance of serving others and learning to be missionaries both locally and globally. Activities include sleepovers, bake sales, decorating Christmas stockings, GA camp and more!

Upward Basketball and Cheerleading

Upward Basketball is open to boys and girls from 1st through 6th grade. Upward Cheerleading is open to girls in 1st through 6th grade.

We'll teach your children necessary sport skills and values on a family-friendly schedule. They'll meet new friends with similar interests, and get a chance at equal playing time no matter their skill level. They'll learn about good sportsmanship and find a good role model in their coaches.
